Meet your Midwife

Hi, I'm Leticia

I'm a Registered and Endorsed Midwife with a heartfelt passion for supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenthood with compassionate, personalised care.

I believe every woman deserves to feel heard, nurtured, and empowered, and I'm honoured to walk alongside you, providing evidence-based care and genuine support every step of the way.

My Journey

I began my healthcare career as a Registered Nurse after graduating from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2015 before following my passion for midwifery. After completing a Master of Midwifery Practice and later a Graduate Certificate in Prescribing and Diagnostics in Midwifery, I became an Endorsed Midwife, allowing me to provide comprehensive pregnancy and postnatal care, including prescribing eligible medications and requesting pathology and diagnostic imaging within my scope of practice.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for women and families across metropolitan and regional Western Australia, supporting women through pregnancy, birth, water births, and the postnatal period while working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds and life experiences.

A Personal Perspective

In 2022, I welcomed my own daughter with the support of a Privately Practising Midwife.

Experiencing pregnancy and new motherhood from the other side of care gave me an even deeper appreciation for the reassurance, continuity and genuine connection that a trusted midwife can provide. It reinforced my belief that women deserve care that is unhurried, individualised and centred around their unique needs.

After returning to Perth in 2023, I joined NurseWest, working across King Edward Memorial Hospital and Osborne Park Hospital. I continue to work casually at Osborne Park Hospital while growing Nest & Nurture Midwifery Service, a business inspired by my passion for providing personalised, relationship-based care to women and families in the comfort of their own homes.

My Philosophy

Nest & Nurture Midwifery Services was born from my belief that every woman deserves to feel supported, informed and nurtured throughout pregnancy and early motherhood.

Whether you're navigating the excitement of a first pregnancy or welcoming another little one into your family, my hope is that you'll feel confident, empowered and genuinely cared for every step of the way.

It would be a privilege to walk alongside you during this special season of life, helping you build the knowledge and confidence to embrace motherhood with reassurance and joy.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting your journey.
